Sinner No More

Are we “sinners” or human beings who are misguided by our fearful, insecure egos? Could it be that we are actually good to the core? Could it be that our lack of awareness of our essential being keeps us from loving ourselves and therefore others? Our horrific behaviors are destructive but the essential self cannot be destroyed. If we look within, we will see an entire “kingdom” of goodness. What do you think?

  1. Since this ended in a question, I’ll answer. By no means am I a fan of Charles Manson, but in fairness, he has sometimes mentioned a dark side and I think it’s a dark side that we all posses. By no means am I an advocate of his thoughts or actions. The truth (as I see it within myself) is that we all have a bright and dark side. I’m glad that most would see me as someone more like Ralph Nader than Charles Manson, but without certain teachings along the way, I do think there’s a rawness within us all that has the capability of good or bad.

    • The bright and dark sides are simply dualities, from my perspective. From one perspective we could say that our life’s journey is to make peace with those aspects of ourselves that are unpleasant. From another perspective, we could say that Love is all there is, and that all else is simply an illusion, a story we are creating and acting out. When we are unaware of who we really are, we invest considerable energy in trying to make the illusions real.
