Ndidi is the pen name of Eleanor Hooks, Ph.D. who is a writer, spiritual mystic, retreat leader, strategic leadership coach and organization development consultant. She has studied Zen, practiced meditation and explored the meaning of life for more than 20 years. In 1999, she drafted nine principles for a joyful life. This blog is a forum to explore deeply the nuances of those principles, and the concepts that have begun to emerge through her most recent book, African Zen: 108 Meditations on Our Relationship with Spirit.
The Nine Principles for a Joyful Life:
Trust in Your Relationship with All-That-Is
Be Kind to Yourself and to Others
Choose to be Peaceful
Set Aside all Worries and Fears
Honor Every Living Thing
Work With Integrity
Acknowledge the Love in Life
Reveal Your Passion to Create
Know That You Already Have What You Need
Ndidi’s work, coaching through a higher conscousness spirit, is a testament to the life she lives daily for as long as I’ve known her, nearly 20 years. Her most outstanding personal characteristic, laughter, is a charm, emerging as an ecstatic humorous release as well as a breath-taking tool to captivate her listeners’ attention. Her expansive scholarship and broad adventure in life experiences are dutifully expressed through her gifted writing ability. Sending love as appreciation and light as joy for her continued success.
